During a Nascar race, the pit stop is expected so that the car can refuel, change tires, etc.

In a boxing ring, it’s expected for the opponents to sit down, drink water, reapply Vaseline, and strategize between each round.

This is how Wednesday nights are at Gravel Hill—we come together in the middle of the week for a “pit stop” to refuel and re-energize our faith for more victories before we head back onto the track of life Thursday morning.

We’ve been in the ring with our opponent (the devil) and taken many swings from his attacks during the week, and need to “rest and strategize” our faith before stepping into the next round. Come on out with the Gravel Hill family any Wednesday night and get recharged!
